McKenzie Zeigler - Stylist | Colorist | Makeup Artist
From the young age of 17, McKenzie knew she wanted to be a hairstylist and makeup artist. She eagerly finished high school and moved to New York City in 2005 to attend the Aveda Institute in SoHo. She obtained a degree in esthiology and cosmetology, then accepted an apprenticeship as a colorist at Cutler Salon in SoHo. After intensive training, she decided it was time to fulfill her other dream of becoming a makeup artist and completed an extensive course at the Make-up Designery.
McKenzie is specialized in color as well as razor cutting and has a large following of curly haired guests. She believes every cut and color should be customized for each individual person. She has more than 10 years’ experience with bridal, beauty, fashion and costume makeup. Hair and makeup are a true passion for her, and she embraces any and every opportunity to learn more about her art.

Review: “Aside from the adorableness of the salon, every moment of a visit is incredible. The entire staff is welcoming and lovely, the hospitality is wonderful (complimentary wine, coffee, tea, water, beer, or a lil liquor), and gifted dressers. I most appreciate the level of thought they've put into their service offerings and their bathroom! It's a wonderful salon. Special shout out to my favorite hair dresser, McKenzie. She's knowledgeable and gifted and one to trust, especially with curly hair!” - Erika Enlund
